WHAT I CAN HELP WITH

Pain, tension and emotional distress: when might a session be helpful?

Bodywork for pain and tension may offer a useful starting point when discomfort persists or movement becomes restricted. You may come with a specific pain, reduced mobility or persistent tension.

At other times, the body may instead express stress, deep fatigue, disrupted sleep or emotional difficulty.

Some people come after trying different approaches without finding a satisfactory answer. Others simply feel the need for a different kind of support — one that takes into account the body, emotional experience and what may be happening at a deeper level.

PAIN AND MOVEMENT

When pain persists, returns or restricts your movement

Pain may develop gradually, return regularly or begin to limit simple everyday movements. Some people seek support for one specific area, while others experience several tensions that seem to be connected.

I commonly work with back pain, sciatica and sciatic-type pain, neck tension, and shoulder pain or restricted shoulder movement.

Back, Pelvis and Legs
  • Back and lower back pain
  • Acute lower back pain
  • Sciatica or sciatic-type pain
  • Pelvic or hip pain
  • Knee, ankle or foot pain
Neck, Shoulders and Arms
  • Painful or restricted shoulder movement
  • Pain in the arm, elbow or wrist
  • Jaw tension
  • Tension-related headaches or migraines
Mobility and Persistent Pain
  • Stiffness or reduced range of movement
  • Pain following physical effort, a fall or an awkward movement
  • Pain that returns or moves from one area to another
  • Difficulty returning to a familiar activity or movement
  • Persistent tension despite trying different approaches

Long-standing or recurring pain, particularly when accompanied by reduced mobility, accounts for a large proportion of the requests I receive.

Every situation develops differently. Some people notice a change quickly, while long-standing tensions may take more time.

THE FEMALE BODY

Pain and tension in the female body

Painful periods, pelvic tension and certain forms of pelvic discomfort can have a significant impact on everyday life.

I approach these difficulties through non-invasive bodywork. Touch may involve the abdomen, pelvis, sacrum and the tissues surrounding the bladder, uterus and ovaries, always with respect for your comfort.

The aim is to encourage tension to release, restore greater mobility to this area of the body and help you experience a greater sense of ease.

Trying to Conceive

When conception takes longer than hoped

During a fertility journey, some people find it helpful to have a body-based space in which to release tension in the abdomen and pelvis and navigate the emotional strain of this period.

This support does not treat infertility and is not a substitute for medical or midwifery care.

BODY AND EMOTIONS

When the body can no longer fully let go

Stress and emotions can affect the body deeply: persistent tension, shallow breathing, disrupted sleep, fatigue or the feeling of being constantly on alert.

This support allows you to approach what you are experiencing through bodily sensations, without having to tell or explain everything.

Stress and Nervous Tension

Difficulty relaxing, anxiety, repetitive thoughts, heightened sensitivity or a constant state of alert.

Fatigue and Disrupted Sleep

Exhaustion, unrefreshing sleep, lack of energy or difficulty recovering.

Difficult Experiences and Emotional Overload

Separation, grief, trauma, burnout, depression, loss of meaning or emotions that have become overwhelming.

BEYOND THE SYMPTOM

Exploring what is happening within you

Some people also come to understand themselves more clearly, feel grounded again or continue an emotional, personal or spiritual exploration.

I do not offer ready-made interpretations. I support you by starting from what you feel, so that you can recognise your own inner reference points more clearly and reconnect with them in everyday life.

Feel

Reconnect with the body, sensations and emotions.

Observe

Step back from analysis and notice what is actually being experienced.

Make Space

Allow the experience to be present without fighting or judging it.

Integrate

Integrate what you have moved through and return to a stronger sense of presence.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Support adapted to your age and mobility

I adapt each session to the abilities, comfort and sensitivity of every person.

Adults

For physical, nervous-system or emotional difficulties.

Children and Teenagers

Minors are seen with a parent present.

Pregnant Women

The work is adapted to each stage of pregnancy.

Older People or People with Reduced Mobility

The session can take place on a treatment table when floor-based work is not suitable.

I do not work with infants.

What if we simply started with what you are feeling today?

A specific pain, reduced mobility, persistent tension, emotional strain or discomfort that is difficult to name already provides a starting point.

You do not need to know its exact cause before booking an appointment.

This support is complementary. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

If your symptoms are unusual, persistent or worsening, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
