FAQ
What Is the Support I Offer ?
The support I offer is somatic, somato-emotional, and integrative.
It draws on rebouteux work, fascial work, empathic listening to the body, breathing, and presence.
It supports processes of regulation, release of tension, inner clarification, and lasting integration.
This is neither a superficial massage, nor simple relaxation, nor mental training — it is deep work with the body as a living guide.
Does this replace medical care ?
No. This support does not replace medical treatment, psychotherapeutic follow-up, or specialized care.
It can, however, be a valuable complement in cases of musculoskeletal pain, chronic stress, automatic reactions, emotional tension, or when the body is seeking to regulate itself.
In the case of acute conditions or medical diagnoses, it is always important to consult a healthcare professional.
Who Are These Forms of Support For ?
This support is for anyone who wishes to:
release deep physical tension,
clarify their relationship with the body and emotions,
move beyond repetitive patterns or unconscious automatisms,
restore a more grounded and accurate presence in everyday experience,
engage in an embodied process of transformation.
This approach is particularly well suited to sensitive or hypersensitive individuals, while remaining open to anyone seeking deep, respectful body-based work.
What Happens During a Session ?
A session usually begins with a brief moment of exchange to clarify what is present for you.
Then:
the body is listened to and accompanied through touch, gentle mobilization, breath-based movement, attention to the fascia, and conscious exploration of movement,
empathic listening supports sensing what is still held in the body, without judgment,
nothing is forced — everything unfolds at the pace your body proposes.
The intention is not to impose a technique, but to create a space in which your system can release, regulate, and reorganize itself.
Do I need to be flexible or experienced to come ?
Not at all.
No prior experience is required to participate.
You do not need to know how to move “well” or to be flexible.
This work adapts to your body, your history, your sensations, and your sensitivity.
What matters most is being present with what is here, without judgment.
Will this be emotionally difficult ?
It is possible that certain sensations or emotions may arise during a session, as the body and emotional experience are deeply connected.
My role is to accompany you within a safe, empathic, and respectful framework, so that what emerges can be heard, welcomed, and transformed — rather than experienced as raw emotional intensity.
How many sessions are needed to “feel better” ?
Each person is unique, and there is no fixed number of sessions that guarantees transformation.
For some, a single session may be enough to release a tension or bring clarity to a sensation. For others, a progressive process allows deeper and more lasting changes to be integrated.
In all cases, the support is adjusted to your rhythm, your history, and what emerges over the course of the work.
What Is the Role of Empathic Listening ?
Empathic listening is not a mental analysis.
It is an attentive presence to the way your body is still living an experience — with its tensions, habits, and automatisms.
This form of listening allows what is present to be welcomed, its uniqueness to be respected, and what has been held or frozen to gradually release.
Is this work “spiritual” ?
Yes — if spirituality is understood as a deep transformation in one’s relationship to oneself, embodied in the body, awareness, and actions.
This is not about beliefs or ideology, but about a path toward inner clarity, unifying what is lived in the body, mind, and emotions, and supporting deep and lasting change.
Do you also offer support for organizations ?
Yes.
I offer workshops focused on stress regulation, presence at work, and embodied mobilization, as well as individual therapeutic sessions for people experiencing tension related to professional activity, repetitive postures, or fatigue.
Each intervention is designed within a respectful and safe framework, adapted to the needs of the group or the individuals involved.
How Should I Prepare for a Session ?
No specific preparation is required.
It is simply recommended to:
wear comfortable clothing,
come with an open intention,
be ready to listen to what your body has to say.
What if I listen “too mentally” ?
That’s completely normal.
The mind has often learned to be “in charge.”
The purpose of this work is precisely to reconnect the mind with the body — not by eliminating thought, but by allowing bodily awareness to become a space of learning, clarity, and freedom.
Are the sessions suitable for hypersensitive people ?
Yes.
This approach is particularly well suited to sensitive or hypersensitive individuals, as it emphasizes a safe framework, empathic listening, respect for individual rhythm, and gradual integration.
Hypersensitive people often find here a space where their sensitivity is recognized, respected, and supported — rather than reduced or ignored.
How Can I Book an Appointment ?
You can contact me directly via the contact form or by phone / email.
We can briefly connect to clarify your intention, answer your questions, and decide together on the most appropriate way to begin.
What if I’m not sure this approach is right for me ?
That’s completely normal.
You can come without any particular expectations, simply with curiosity.
There is nothing to achieve — only to listen to what is present.
What Can Happen After a Session ?
After a session, it is possible to experience:
a sense of relaxation or fatigue,
a feeling of lightness or bodily reorganization,
some soreness in the areas that were worked on, which should subside within a few days,
sometimes a continuation of the emotional process over the following days.
It is recommended to drink water, rest, and observe what arises without judgment.
Is it normal to feel nothing ?
Yes.
Every body responds differently.
Sometimes the effects are subtle or appear later. The absence of immediate sensation does not mean that nothing is happening.
Do I need to have a specific goal ?
No.
You can come with a clear intention or simply with a vague sensation.
The work adapts to what is present, without any expectation of a predefined outcome.
Is this suitable for more “rational” or analytical people ?
Yes.
This approach starts from the body, sensation, and direct experience.
No belief is required — everyone remains free in how they understand and experience what unfolds.
Can I attend these sessions alongside medical or therapeutic care ?
Yes.
These sessions can complement medical, psychological, or therapeutic care, as long as such care is maintained whenever necessary.
Is this suitable for older adults or people with reduced mobility ?
Yes, in many cases.
The work is always adapted to each person’s physical abilities and limitations.
Are the changes always immediate ?
Not necessarily.
Some effects are immediate, while others unfold over time. The body integrates at its own pace.
Can this be described as “deep work” ?
Yes, in the sense that the work aims to meet the bodily and emotional causes, not only the symptoms.
This depth is approached without force, in respect of the nervous system.
The Rebouteux Approach
Rebouteux work is a traditional body-based approach that aims to restore mobility to tissues and joints.
The touch is deep without being forceful, attentive to the body’s resistances.
It is particularly well suited to pain, stiffness, blockages, and tensions that have settled over time.
The Wuo Taï Approach
Wuo Taï is a gentle and enveloping approach, based on spiral and wave-like movements.
It invites the body to release its protective patterns, rediscover fluidity and unity, and calm the nervous system.
This approach is accessible to everyone and is particularly well suited to sensitive individuals or those experiencing overload.
The Somato-Emotional Approach
The body holds the memory of lived experiences.
Some unexpressed emotions can become inscribed as tension or pain.
The somato-emotional approach allows movement to return where something had become fixed, without force or analysis.
Emotional release unfolds naturally, within a safe framework that respects each person’s rhythm.
